Dr Rahman Daiyan –UNSW Engineering Excellence awards ECA

CSI Chief Investigator Dr Rahman Daiyan has been awarded UNSW Engineering Excellence (Early Career Academic).

Dr Daiyan is a demonstrably outstanding research and collaborator, for whom it can be said a highly regarded expertise in nanomaterials design, for various energy conversion applications is complemented by a qualitative, impactful research output.  Daiyan has been actively involved in writing successful grant proposals, he is a chief investigator for a number of competitive grants including funding from ARC, ARENA, CSIRO, DFAT and industry partners.

Dr Daiyan expertly and professionally leverages his engagement with community, industry, the education sector and through social media to promote the activities of his group and his research. His contribution to developing partnerships has attracted industry funding and participation in professional activities.

Dr Daiyan actively advocates for the need for energy transition to the general community, his students and through ongoing contribution to research.
