Dr Christopher Barnett

As an organometallic chemist by training, Christopher has always had an interest understanding how a catalyst works, and therefore how to improve its performance. His interests include N-Heterocyclic carbenes and understanding their electronic properties, and probing the mechanism of catalytic reactions (organocatalytic, organometallic, and electrochemical). He has a passion for technology and uses the latest tools available to improve research, automating experimentation, data processing, and even 3D printing reactors.
