Daming Ren is currently a PhD candidate in Professor Liming Dai’s research group at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). Prior to this, he earned his Master’s degree from the China University of Geosciences (Wuhan). His research focuses on energy conversion and storage in advanced carbon-based catalysts for lithium-gas battery systems, particularly in Li-CO₂, Li-O₂, and Li-N₂ batteries. Additionally, he engages in computational electrocatalysis, utilizing computational techniques to design materials for sustainable energy conversion.
