Dr Denny Gunawan

Denny Gunawan is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Particles and Catalysis Research Group within the School of Chemical Engineering at the University of New South Wales. He is also affiliated with the Australian Research Council (ARC) Training Centre for the Global Hydrogen Economy and Centre of Excellence for Carbon Science and Innovation. His primary research area focuses on enhancing the photocatalytic production of solar fuels and chemicals, such as hydrogen, hydrogen peroxide, and hydrocarbons, through catalyst design and reactor engineering. Furthermore, he has actively contributed to several decarbonisation projects led by the government and industry stakeholders, conducting techno-economic studies for sustainable fuels and chemicals technologies.
