Dr Liang Sun

Dr Liang Sun received his PhD in Materials Engineering from the University of Adelaide in 2025. He is currently a Research Associate at the University of New South Wales, working under the supervision of Professor Zi (Sophia) Gu. His research focuses on the development of nanocarbon materials for energy storage. Dr Sun has published in high-impact journals and has extensive experience in materials research, electrochemistry, and process optimisation. His work involves the synthesis and characterisation of functional materials and electrochemical evaluation of their performance. He also participates in collaborative research across materials science and nanobiotechnology.
