Dr Quanbin Dai

Dr Quanbin Dai completed his PhD in 2022 at Case Western Reserve University (USA) developing multi-functional carbon-based electrocatalysts for clean energy and storage technologies. As an Early Career Researcher now, he investigates the biomimetic applications of carbon nanomaterials that utilise their unique physical structures. With a background in biology, his research now aims to leverage the advantages of carbon nanomaterials for further biomimetic-inspired applications and technologies. He also has an interest in research translation and commercialisation to deliver solutions to the challenges faced today.
