Tom Lawson

Tom Lawson, a technical member at the School of Chemical Engineering at The University of New South Wales in Australia, has research interests centred on innovative and sustainable energy solutions. These interests encompass a broad spectrum of materials science with applications in both biomedicine and engineering. He has contributed to the development of nanomaterials, such as graphene and metal-organic frameworks, for applications in drug delivery, biosensor design, and photothermal therapy. His research activities also include biomaterials for corneal regeneration and nerve stimulation, the use of functionalised nanoparticles for targeted drug delivery, and the development of polymers to promote plant growth.
