Dr Fei Li

Dr Fei Li is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of New South Wales, working under the supervision of Prof Liming Dai. He received his PhD from Tsinghua University in June 2024, where he was supervised by Prof Yang Su and Prof Hui-Ming Cheng. During his doctoral studies, he also undertook visiting research at the National University of Singapore (NUS) under the guidance of Nobel Laureate Prof Konstantin Novoselov and Prof Daria Andreeva. After completing his PhD, he worked as a Senior Materials R&D Engineer at Huawei. His research focuses on the controlled synthesis of carbon-based materials for precious metal recycling and their subsequent upcycling for applications in water purification and catalysis.
