Dr Yanming Cai

Dr Yanming Cai is currently a Research Associate at the University of New South Wales and the ARC Centre of Excellence for Carbon Science & Innovation. He received his PhD from Nanjing University in June 2024 under the supervision of Prof. Jun-Jie Zhu. During his doctoral studies, he was selected as one of 600 young scientists worldwide to attend the 71st Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting. Following his PhD, he worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at City University of Hong Kong in Prof. Hua Zhang’s group. His research focuses on the rational design of functional carbon-based materials as catalytic regulators for electrochemical carbon dioxide conversion.
