Dr Xiaoguang Duan is a Professor and ARC Future Fellow in the School of Chemical Engineering at Adelaide University. His research integrates environmental chemistry, green catalysis, and functional materials to develop sustainable technologies for water purification, pollutant/waste transformation and valorisation, and solar-to-chemical conversion. He has published over 300 peer-reviewed papers in Nature Water, Nature Sustainability, Angew Chem, Chem Rev, Nat Commun etc., and he has been recognised as a Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher, Young Tall Poppy, MIT Technology Review Innovator under 35, and ES&T James J. Morgan Award recipient.
