Prof Dr Yang Hou received his PhD from the School of Environmental Science & Technology of Dalian University of Technology in 2011, and then did 5.5 years of postdoctoral research in the Department of Chemistry at the University of California, Riverside, Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, and Center for Advancing Electronics Dresden, Technische Universität Dresden. He has been a Professor in the College of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Zhejiang University since March 2017. His current research focuses on the design and synthesis of low-dimensional nanomaterials for energy and environmental applications.
