Zhijian Cao is a PhD student in the School of Materials Science and Engineering at UNSW Sydney, under the supervision of A/Prof Rakesh Joshi. He received his Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Master of Research (MRes) degrees from UNSW Sydney. His research focuses on modified graphene-based adsorption technologies, with particular emphasis on recovering rare earth elements.
