Dr Bo Lin

Dr. Bo Lin (She/Her) earned her PhD from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering (MME), UNSW, under the supervision of Prof. Guan Heng Yeoh. She previously worked at the ARC Training Centre for Fire Safety, where she contributed to research on advanced flame-retardant materials and technologies. Dr. Lin’s current research focuses on transforming bio-waste into carbon catalysts, with a particular emphasis on the synthesis and characterisation of waste-derived materials. Additionally, she serves as the guest editor for the Polymers Special Issue, “Recent Advances in Flame-Retardant Polymeric Materials”. Her work addresses critical environmental challenges and contributes to the development of safer and more sustainable material solutions.
