Professor Jeffrey Gordon

Professor Jeffrey Gordon has forged major scientific advances in the fields of materials science, nanotechnology, solar energy conversion, advanced optical design, photovoltaics, biomedical optics, and algal biotechnology. Professor Gordon is a past UWA Gledden Visiting Fellow and is currently in residence at the UWA Institute of Advanced Studies as an Adjunct Professor in the UWA Department of Chemical Engineering. One of his aims at UWA, in collaboration with Professor Hui Tong Chua, Head of the UWA Department of Chemical Engineering, and Ablano Pty Ltd, is creating scalable, affordable procedures for the mass-production and commercialisation of valued nanomaterials.
